E.P.W. Security grew from a Company called Eric Woolley Services Pty. Ltd. This Company was started in 1965 by Mr. Eric Woolley, primarily specialising in television and radio servicing.

During the 1980’s Mr. Woolley was increasingly asked by the larger burglar alarm companies in Sydney to install and service alarm systems on the South Coast.

This side of the business continued to grow until, in 1988, E.P.W. Security was born to service the customers of the South Coast who became increasingly disenchanted with the lack of customer service from the larger companies.

Mr. Woolley has always maintained that the customer is “King” and in security they deserve and should expect the very highest of standards in installation and servicing.

In 1991, Mr. Woolley’s son Steven joined the Company to help manage the twin components of alarm installation and alarm monitoring.

In 2000, E.P.W. Security moved from the family home to its current location in the centre of Nowra to provide for a larger purpose built Control Room, dedicated workshop for alarm panel servicing and to provide a friendlier face to work that is generally completed while most people sleep.

The Company continues to install and service residential and commercial alarm systems, as well as, temperature controls on mortuaries, flow controls on pumping systems and dedicated medical alarm systems for the elderly or disabled.

The underlying theme of the Company is that it is “a family Company looking after families”.

We service alarm systems from Sydney to Bega, out to Cootamundra, Canberra, Bowral and through to Muswellbrook.

E.P.W. Security is the largest privately owned Monitoring Control Room between Sydney and Melbourne. We can only thank our customers for this achievement.
